Christmas Fund gearing up for fall events

The annual Richmond Christmas Fund is starting to prepare for its season of giving, which will kick off later this year.
The eighth annual Richmond RCMP Toy Drive will take place Nov. 19 at Lansdowne Centre. Last year's event was the most successful yet, collecting 1.5 tonnes of toys and raising $22,400.
On Dec. 7 the A Not So Silent Night fundraising event will be back live and in-person at the Richmond Auto Mall’s Porsche showroom, which has yet to open. There will be both a silent auction and a live auction, as well as food, drinks, and holiday-themed entertainment. The silent auction will also be available for online bidding.
